I hope so....
I didn't mean or want to leave the Timeline hanging like this, but things have been kinda crazy over here. If no one volunteers with the issues, I will try to get them for you. |

No, no, no. Don't feel bad for a minute. I understand completely, and I'll find someone to help with that particular part of the Timeline.

I've also got #123(the newest issue), and I can probably get future ones for the list each month. I didn't post the info from #123 yet though because I'm missing #122.

How about my confirmation that Maggie Roswell had signed the deal with Playmates from this thread:
pub132.ezboard.com/fthesi...=297.topic At any rate that thread is a great read. Lots of drama! |

> February 2003 - Lee's Toy Review #124
-pg. 14: Lee's Toy Gazette- Simpsons series 12. "Here's an offer you can't refuse. The latest series of Simpsons is in the pipeline as you read this. The series includes Don Vittorio, Homer as "Mr. Plow", Mr. Largo, Database, Luann, and Number One." Small pictures of all six figures included, along with Simpsons and Playmates logo's -pg. 114: Price Guide - Highlights, Hank Scorpio, as being a hot figure and having occured a price increase. Listed at $12 > March 2003 - Lee's Toy Review #125 -pg. 40: Investmentary- "With most collectors focusing their attention on the basic figures from The Simpsons line, the interactive playsets with exclusive figures are better and better with time. Take MOES TAVERN($$+), for instance, which includes an exclusive DUFF MAN figure. Many collectors shy away from the interactive playsets because they sport a $20 price tag; the Moe's Tavern set retails for close to $40. It all adds up to a piece that casual collectors are going to overlook. Don't be among them- there's nothing casual about your approach to toys. In addition, the FACES OF SPRINGFIELD ($$) line has been showing up at Electronics Boutique. Series One did quite well at Target stores, and Series Two-which includes classic characters like Moe and Barney- appears destined to succeed as well. The Simpsons are celebrating their 300th episode this season and the show doesn't appear to be losing any steam, so if there's a bandwagon to jump it might be this one." -pg. 114: Price Guide - Adds new listings that are all given price hot piece / price increase highlights: Series 11--all $8 Court Room- $20 Moes Tavern- $40 Mail Order Exclusives: Sinclair $30 Cooder $30 B-Sharp Homer $30 Faces of Springfield Barney $25 Moe$25 Yankee Doodle Floppy Disk, this is Foxtrot Zulu Milk Shake, checking in at seven hundred feet. |

You gotta be careful if you hang with me. I swim in the deep end of the geek pool.
I forgot to bring my stack of ToyFare magazines to work today. If I get them at lunch I may be able to add those in today. |

Re: re | ||
This thread was nearing oblivion on the last page of this forum, which I'm sure we'd all agree would be a tragedy of geekian proportions. Since Mark is in Tibet for the forseeable future, anyone volunteer to update the past year? |

The Nearing of the End | ||
|
Here's my contribution.
"April 2004: And as the End drew near with alarming finality, there could be heard much wailing and gnashing of teeth amongst the geeks, for they were sore afraid. Looming large against the dark horizon could be seen the THOH 5 House of Pain Manimals playset. And it was bitter to their tongues. Robbed of one last joy from their beloved toy line, mourning with sackcloth and ash, the geeks could only await the day of dread with heavy hearts and curses. Except those geeks who welcomed the House of Pain Manimals playset. And their hearts were uplifted, and they danced and got their geek on as if embraced by the Happy Little Elves themselves." |
