-pg. 40: Investmentary- "With most collectors focusing their attention on the basic figures from The Simpsons line, the interactive playsets with exclusive figures are better and better with time. Take MOES TAVERN($$+), for instance, which includes an exclusive DUFF MAN figure. Many collectors shy away from the interactive playsets because they sport a $20 price tag; the Moe's Tavern set retails for close to $40. It all adds up to a piece that casual collectors are going to overlook. Don't be among them- there's nothing casual about your approach to toys.
In addition, the FACES OF SPRINGFIELD ($$) line has been showing up at Electronics Boutique. Series One did quite well at Target stores, and Series Two-which includes classic characters like Moe and Barney- appears destined to succeed as well. The Simpsons are celebrating their 300th episode this season and the show doesn't appear to be losing any steam, so if there's a bandwagon to jump it might be this one."
