I went to my friends comic book shop today and he gane me the Bongo Free comic book day comic early and He gave me a simpsons promo poster promoting the
next crossover comic which the covers form to make a picture. The comic is back to the normal comic size unlike last years free comic book day comic

Yay! Thanks for the reminder! I'm going to my comic book shop right now!
EDIT They gave me two titles: The Avengers and Green Lantern. No Simpsons. I thought about asking about other titles, but the cashier seemed to be a little over with people asking for a free comic book.

Greg, I assume you went to Midtown Comics?
That place sucks-- pardon my French-- for Free Comic Book Day. I recommend instead going to Jim Hanley's Universe on 33rd St... it's a really great store in general, and has a very friendly and helpful staff. Not that helps you now, but just for future reference. It's my favorite comic shop in Manhattan. Forbidden Planet in Union Square is good too. |

Jeremy, yes I did go to Midtown. It's only a block from work, and I had to go into the office on Saturday. But they do kinda suck. I just started
ordering my DCUC figures from them, but they told me Saturday that the Barda variant that I ordered was not coming in and they really only had my word for it
that the variant even existed. How weird is that? Like I made it up? I'll be going to Jim Hanley's on Monday.

EDIT Jeremy, I stopped by Jim Hanley's Universe. Very nice place! And the staff was helpful. They didn't have a Big Barda variant, but I'll go back again. They had a lot of older stuff I haven't seen in a couple of years, including Charlie Brown figures and WOS. I dunno why I like looking at that old stuff; memories of the hunt, I guess. Michael, I went back to my comic book shop today to pick up my next DCUC order, and, upon request, they gave me a Simpsons comic book. They probably thought I deserved it after forgetting about my Big Barda variant. But I would not have thought to ask for it if you hadn't posted your offer, so thanks.
