It was nice that they finally gave Moe some human qualities at the end. Rather than the usual he's back to his rat like self without learning anything.

Yes, Nick died, but Groening always said they would suddenly bring him back ala Marvin Monroe.

I really liked this episode. I was actually rooting for things to work out! I suppose Moe in a happy relationship just wouldn't work for the show though.
