After Homer forgets about a father-son three-legged race at the Springfield Retirement Castle, "The Simpsons are going to..." Ireland, to a pub Grampa visited during World War II, so Grampa can have "one final drink" there - which turns into Homer and Grampa buying the pub .Source: http://snpp.com/upcoming.shtml Note: This episode aired 03/17 in Ireland. Great ep, and it was nice that Ireland got to see it first. I say let OFF visit every country in the EU. I enjoyed the Belgium/ Tin Tin reference and
Flanders mustache cap.

I missed the intro too, but otherwise I enjoyed the episode. I liked bringing Moe over, and that stupid sexy Flanders is still so ripped. The first act with
the hot tub was funny, and the Ireland stuff worked for me too. I thought this was one of the funnier "The Simpsons are going to -" episodes. Not as
funny as when they went to Australia, but way funnier than when they went to England or Africa.

The billboard had Dr. Nick holding a bunch of babies upside down by their feet, and it said:
PAY FOR SEPTUPLETS GET OCTUPLETS FREE! The chalkboard said "FOUR-LEAF CLOVERS ARE NOT MUTANT FREAKS" Also of (minor) note, the crow at the beginning of the titles seems to alternate between flying left to right and right to left each week. This week it was left to right. |
