Hello I am fairly new to this website, and to all forum posting details..so I'm going to cut right into it. I have been collecting Simpson's since I was a little boy and now iv grown up...with a little more cash. So I was hopeing some of you fellow Simpson's fanatics could help me out and make a masterset of the Simpson's mania sketch cards. Iv allredy started one myself, it is simply a file names Simpson's cards with the diffrent names of the artists who sketched the cards. Iv gotten most of them from ebay and other forms of internet findings, and also the inkworks website (but none of the cards had the numbers so I did not know what to put them under). I am asking for anyone who has any of sketch cards to give me the number of the card and a picture of the front of the card so I can see the art and then if you can the back of the card so I can verify the number. This would be a really cool thing to do, since there is only a limited amount of these cards that were avaiable. And even if you happen to find a picture of a card online and you cant find a number, send it to me because I could match it up with what I have to see if I have it. With certain artist of this seires it will be easier becuase you can tell by the diffrences in the drawings, but like Jim Readon's sketch's he drew basically the same bart head for just about all of them from what I'v read, so its a little harder to find them. Hi! And welcome to the board. This SCS is not as active as it once was, back in the World of Springfield heyday. But we still have a decent amount of members.

oh allright sorry about that, im new to this whole thing...but umm besides that I did load all of the images up to my photbucket all you have to do is pick a
folder on the left handside and then you can view the unknown cards also through another folder... thanks for the time again.

 thanks im really interested in the trading card aspect of the
show becuase it is I think one of the most rare part of the simpsons. There are so many cards that are SOO hard to find that they dont even have a price tag
over there head. I read somewhere that the simpsons lucky day card which is the super rare card you sent into skybox for the Art d' Bart card drawn by
Matt...is one of the rarest cards in non-sport card collecting...also the bart-a-rang card!! Thanks again for the reco.

Its not a dumb question.. the Sketch Cards were a sub series in the 2001 Simpson's Inkworks trading card set. It was a set of 9 diffrent artist who
worked on the Simpson's, there were 9 different artist but there were a certain number of cards dedicated to them. These were really cool because SOME of
the artist mixed it up and made them look really cool while others it looks like just ran through them. They are very unique in their own way thats why I like
them so much because there is only one out there like them.....rare |

I think I'm correct on this - If you go to the inkworks website & download all of the images of the cards, the sketch number is incorporated in the
name of the jpeg: LINK

hahaha iv only got 4 of them, and the cost of the cheapest one I have i bought off ebay for 75$ the most expensive one was 205$ and I got that for cheap!! These things are really expensive and rare, it all depends on what people will pay... |

There are a couple of people that try and track the 2156 cards. I found www.sketchmania.com has been around the longest and have almost 25% of them all tracked
thus far. Man these sketch cards are awesome (even the plain sk8 barts to some degree).
