To be honest, I had forgotten about preregistering, but Ketriana told me later about the $100 price tag. To say I had sticker shock is an understatement.
I get why CCI needs to do it, but dang.
Unfortunately, until the Center expands and we can actually increase our numbers (mainly booths on the floor, but attendees too), we're at an income standstill. However, the our costs go up (sometimes horrifically) every year. You'd be amazed at how much this monster costs to run...we pay for everything, even things that other events get from the city for free (like traffic controllers and the lighted traffic signs). It sucks.
The Mattel booth was a nightmare...I had five people working on getting me the Buzz Lightyear, and finally one succeeded on Saturday. I gave up trying to get the Green Lanterns.
