Picked up the Ultimate Wall-E at Toys R Us for my family. They had two in the store in the robot aisle. Pretty steep at $249.99, but better than the
$449.99 price (plus $15 shipping) at Amazon. At that price, I wanted to make sure he worked before wrapping him for Christmas, so charged the battery and
turned him on. Amazing. He can't pick things up like my Omnibot 2000 that I bought in the mid-80s, but he really looks like he's alive. He can
wander around on his own and looks at things when he sees motion. Really freaks out my cats. When you talk to him he looks at you and responds with his
voice (although I have no idea what he's saying). Really cute. The blinking is a nice touch. You can call him and he comes to you (the instructions
say to clap but I just called his name and it worked). I haven't tried programming him or using the remote since I just wanted to see if he works, but
from what I've seen, he's easily worth every penny.

That robot does look pretty cool. If i'm ever able to afford it, i want to pick one up. my dog would freak out.
let me know if any major problems arise, homer da man! for $250 bucks i want to know it wont bust!
