Yeah, it's not like back in the day when Playmates was cranking out one of the best aciton figure lines ever. Who knows, now that McFarlane has run the
line in tot he ground, maybe after this year someone new will get the license and come out with something new to generate a little excitement again.

it's true, I still collect the DVD and am an avid fan, but had to sell-off my WoS collection a couple years ago...there are still great people here to come
and hang out with!

Hello!
I used to lurk around the SCS a few years ago posting useless information under the name Johnny LaRue. It wasn't a Yuku board last time i was here so i signed up with a new name. I stopped coming around after Playmates killed the WOS line but I still drop in on ocassion to see if anyone is selling some of the last few figures and playsets i still don't have. It may take me 10 years to get 'em all but I will damn it! |

The site is not maintained as it once was. I think once World of Springfield died, a lot of enthusiasm went with it.

Even tho the WOS line is in the past it has not stoped me from keeping my collection up in my home.I started missing the good old days of hunting and
collecting this line that i decided to put another complete set together via ebay and my local Comic Book Shop.I am so glad ive held onto my collection,i would
have hated myself if i ever sold it.Man it would be so awesome if Play Mates started up the WOS again.
