Lucius Sweet? Strange choice.
I'm not really sure what to expect, and I'm honestly not looking forward to not knowing what figure I'm getting, but this certainly could be cool and interesting. Hope we see some of this at the SDCC. |

24 figures, blind packaging, 7.95 each. Think I can pass on that. Even if it wasn't blind packaging 7.95 each for 24 three inch figures sounds a bit steep.

I am glad to hear they are creating "new" character figures (Luscious & Funzo, maybe more). It is the only thing that keeps me checking back for
more Simpson stuff. Some of my favorites are the mini PVCs from the Space Shuttle episode and the Baseball episode, plus the Australian releases had many great
unique figures. Thanks KidRobot!

Crazy I tells ya! This sounded really cool until the "blind package" thing. If I am going to spend dang near $8 for one figure, I would like to know
what the hell I am buying. The WOS line didn't cost this much. Kinda sux.

People may be complaining about the price and it is high, but keep in mind Kid Robot targets the vinyl audience. Generally that involves a single limited run,
so things like high costs and lots of repaints will be required to offset production costs. they probably added a extra $2-3 to cover license fees.
Check out their mini labbits and mongers for comparable items and that will give you an idea of how I think they well do their case ratios. |

Yikes. I was excited for this after I saw what they did with Adult Swim but if the figures are really going to look like those pictured I may have to pass.

I think they look pretty nice. I'm still a little iffy on the blind packaging, but otherwise, I'm probably in (if for no other reason to get a Lucius
Sweet figure)

Meh.
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I think just about everything KidRobot puts out is hideous crap. A few of the Simpsons characters might look ok in that KidRobot "style", but most will likely be as fugly as those old Blockos nobody wanted.

I don't think I like the "squished" look either, but some reason I loved the Blockos. Now if they start making Hello Kitty Homers, I'd be all

I think they look great since I love the "super deformed" Star Wars stuff that comes out of Japan. These actually look better than I expected, after the adult swim line I was expecting something like the Australian PVC figures. . |
