This wave now includes articulation at the elbows and knees. Unfortunately, we've also got the same old figures again: Regular: Superman (2), Batman (2), Flash & GL Deluxe: Superman & Batman Be careful when you pick these up - both regular Superman versions had very noticable seams along the sholder line where the two halves of the torso come together.

The paint jobs continue to be a problem, and I honestly don't know where Mattel is coming up with the variant ideas. The wife just asked me if I'm not impressed with them, why don't I take them back. That's a good question.

Contrary to what I've read, all the joints on my figures are nice and tight. Maybe I got lucky?

I haven't opened them yet, so I'll keep my eyes open for a better set. Shouldn't be a problem given the mass quantity of Superman figures produced in this line.

It's like Mattel has the license, but they haven't actually watched any of the shows. So they just keep redoing the same characters over and over rather than release anything new. How hard would it be to include one villain per wave?

I'm sure there are ones I've missed.

I dunno about them. For one thing, the figures are dedicated; and two, the figures are in a slightly larger scale than the regualr figures. Plus, why does the Flash need a motorcycle?

Every once in a while Target has a sale on JL, but I have no idea if or when they'll do it again. And I can't answer your Hawkgirl question, although I would be surprised if there was a variation.
