mine is 2yrs old, so unless they send me a brand new xbox (and send mine back repaired), it won't have the HDMI ports. I have received 2 new/different
xboxes in the past out of the 3 issues that I've had previous to this one.
I don't think the Arcade version has HDMI ports either. can anyone confirm? |

Its nice not having to worry about the memory cards anymore. Its not that they were difficult, but it's just something that doesnt even need to be thought
about anymore. and i also heard that new xbox360s have a different motherboard in them which is less prone to heating problems
also, anybody have any clue as to when 60 Gb hard drives will be sold seperately? I know they sell a beginners pack with the hard drive, gold subscription, and a headset, but i dont want the other two things |

bummer. Anyone get the new Lord of The Rings game? If so, what'd you think?
Let's see....Graphics were good, not great. Storyline sucked. Online play is amazing, and coop is a lot of fun. Hero powers seemed to be customized, except Gandalf's. It's like they forgot him.

Wish I wouldn't have traded in my COD4.
picked up Ninja Gaiden II and Condemned 2 at Best Buy last week for $10 each. Now I have 6 games to play: Dead Space Orange Box Dead Rising Ninja Gaiden II Condemned 2 Lego Star Wars Saga and I just downloaded the Jedi Temple Level for The Force Unleashed. Just finished Gears of War 2 and Simpsons. We're always looking for a singer and a drummer for RB2/GH4, to get some of the 4-player band achievements, if anyone out there is good at either and wants to help us out.

25/44 achievements for 425/1000G. Couldn't do any more than that. The game is just so repetitive and the camera sucks so bad. It had the potential of being
an awesome game, it just seems like they stopped trying halfway thru.

Yeah I agree with you on the Simpsons Game. It could have been this awesome Parody video game, but it ended up just barely above average. I played it on the
PS3(So no achievement points just for pausing the game), but it had the exact same issues. The way you changed characters was stupid. Doing it at a phone booth
is fine but why couldn't the new character just plop into the world? Why did they basically have to save your game and restart it with the new character? I
shouldn't have had to have Marge built that platform beside the springfield retirement castle 3 times to get all 3 tokens up top. Once I had her build that
once, it should have stayed there forever.
Lard Lad got stuck on me once too far away place I could attack his last weak point. |

most games that are made based upon movies and t.v. shows tend to suck, in my opinion. Oft times, it seems that the developer's goal is just to make the
game difficult, instead of fun. The Simpsons game is the best game of the lot so far. If you count LOTR Conquest, then thats a good one too.

dathrill, if you ever see me online (HamKet), send me an invite and I can join your GH4 or RB2 band on vocals or guitar (no drums for me since I live above a
person who likes to complain).
On the subject of The Simpsons Game, I rather enjoyed it, once I got past the camera issues that is. I even went so far as to get all of the achievments. 
The Orange Box is awesome. The three Half-Life 2 games will give you plenty to do for a while. Then there's Team Fortress 2 and the best game ever: Portal! |

dathrill, I can also vocalize, but I prefer geetar (I suck at drums), my LIVE ID is the same as my SCS ID.
I won't have LIVE gold for the next week or so, until my Amazon order arrives ($38 for 13 months is a good deal). |

saw the Amazon deal....that was pretty sweet.
My buddy and I both do guitar/bass, which is why were were looking for vocalists and drummers. There are a couple of achievements like bringing back 3 failing band members, overdrive for 90sec, and 4player overdrive that we're specifically looking for help with. I got you on my buddy list already Hammy, so will do. I'll add you tonite Cleezy. although I'm dedicated to plowing thru Dead Space right now. it's sweeeeet
