I think I'm going to try to sell my 360 to see if I can buy a Premium one with the HDMI port built in.

a Price Drop is likely comming by E3(July). You might want to wait untill then. Trading in your 360 for a new 360 at EB will probably cost you $100-$150.
You're probably better off just buying a VGA cable unless you think your system will crap out on you out of warrenty.

I'm floating it thru my friend network right now. $300 or best offer for the system, HD, and two wireless controllers...along with some extra stuff thrown
in.
GameStop gives about $140 in credit. Local used CD/video game store gives $150ish cash for the system Looking at the Premium so it would match my PS3 that I'll get next month.

If someone will bite for $250 take it. Then just hold off as long as you can and buy the 360 from somewhere that price matches after the fact. That when if a
price drops again, you're more likely to benefit.

If you want to do that, You will HAVE to buy a 360 memory card(the 64mb or 512mb) to transfer your XBL profile.
As for your Downloaded games/content you might run into a bit of a hastle with the DRM. You might only be able access it when you're online. Microsoft has come up with a solution to the problem for people who had to send their 360 in for repairs. But I've herd of people saying that it didn't work for them when they upgraded from a pro to Elite(microsoft has to do something on their end as well I think) and it took them badgering Microsoft for months to get it fixed. |

holy crap! AT&T started offering DSL out to my house last week!! (I live waaaaaaaay out in the country) 768 down/384 up was the highest speed they offer
right now, which actually tests more live 650/325, but it was good enough for voice chat and playing a couple of RB2 songs together.
Finished Star Wars: The Force Unleashed this weekend, and I'm on the last level of a 2nd play-thru. Story rocks, rgaphics are awesome, controls leave a little to be desired, especially when aiming and trying to swing the camera around, but definitely worth it if you're a big SW freak like me.

Simpsons Game - $10 at Best Buy Black Friday Dead Rising - $10 Circuit City Black Friday Dead Space - $30 Target Black Friday Orange Box $15 at Best Buy Gears 2 & GH:WT - $38 each, used at GameStop I'll be busy until RE5 comes out!

I got one of those $20 Hard drives Microsoft handed out to Arcade owners so they could download the NXE. I was given Banjo Kazooie as a gift but I havn't
tried it yet.
IF you want a taste of RE5 right now, you can download the japanese Demo off any torrent site and burn it as a data disk and it pops right up on the dashboard or whatever apparently. |

My son's console red ringed (only one) about three weeks before Christmas. Luckily it was still under warranty and they were able to turn it around (door
to door) within two weeks. I was really surprised and even more so to get a free month of Live with the repaired unit.

I believe microsoft extended their warranty on the 360 to 3 years a while back because of all the red rings.

it's not like it's truly a "free" month of xbox live. I have paid for my subscription, and it'll take at least a month to get it
repaired and back, so they're only making up for my loss. Getting really tired of sending it in though....
