yeah, I got Rock Band Unlpugged. It's okay; I like the songs. The part I don't like about it is that it is difficult to get five stars, even on easy.
You play a section for an instrument and then switch to another instrument. If you mess up just two sections, no five stars for you -- that's a minimum of
only two notes missed!

Pepsi is having a Rock Band promotion this summer. Inside the caps of 20oz Pepsi's are codes which can be entered at pepsirockband.com for a chance at free stuff. Among other things, they are giving away a Rock Band 2 bundle every hour, and 5000 tracks a day. I have entered 25 codes, and won 25 songs for my 360.

I wouldn't say GH Smash Hits is hard... at least no harder than any other GH game. A few specific songs are hard, but they're the ones that were always
hard. Raining Blood and Through the Fire and Flames are the two that stand out here to me at least; I couldn't beat those two on anything higher than
medium back in GH3, and I still can't. I will say I think TtF&F here is a little easier than it was in GH3, because the opening is all purple
notes/touch notes, but even still I can't get very far on it.
Every other song in the game is fine though, and there were only about 5 or so that I had to drop down to hard for. |

Yeah, I'm 7 for 7 on free RB songs too.
Apparently if you have a Wii, it just gives you 200 points, so you can use it on ANYTHING in the store. Alex |

So...to those of you who have picked up Smash Hits: Is it worth it? I have an Amazon gift certificate, and I am debating on picking it up. What are the
positives and negatives? I tried the demo, and was a bit underwhelmed, but that might have been the song selection.

I like it, but it's got stupid Raining Blood in it stopping me from finishing it. The demo songs are all REALLY easy.
I'd recommend it, but I'd wait for it to hit a bargain price if you can. |

Amazingly, I have beat Raining Blood on expert. Twice, even. I'm more ccncerned with TTFAF being the last song of the career. I'd hate to get there on
expert then not be able to finish.

I think they are still missing a couple of songs(no more than 3 or 4 though), but otherwise the complete setlist for Guitar Hero 5 is out:

To me the highlights are: Under Pressure- Queen & David Bowie Smells Like Teen Spirit- Nirvana Bullet With Butterfly Wings- Smashing Pumpkins Sympathy for the Devil- Rolling Stones The Spirit of the Radio(live,2008)- Rush About half of it is good though, the rest I'll just have to wait and see I guess. It feels about the same as the setlist for World Tour, with just enough to make me happy, but with just a little too many songs that I don't recognize. But, I'm definitely happy that after all the Rush songs in RB & GH, we're finally getting Spirit of the Radio. I think I would've preferred them not to use a live version here, but it'll still be good I'm sure. |

I'm 19 for 19 now and am getting to songs I kinda like on the list. I did get the new Green Day pack for free though  .

Man, I was really hoping not to pick up GH5, but if that setlist is to believed, I'll probably cave and get it. One thing I have wanted in Rock Band is
more Garbage, and GH5 features not only a song but Shirley Manson in the game.

Yeah the DLC the past few weeks for Rock Band has been amazing. I've been buying almost all of it (and the ones I didn't get were heavily considered).
THis week I'll be getting them all except maybe Jet and one of the Mac songs (although Don't Stop is an insta-buy). If we could get Sultans of Swing
I'd be pretty happy though, it's easily the best non-RB song on GH5 now.
Plus I'm super stoked about the all-but-confirmed inclusion of the Ghostbusters theme in LEGO Rock Band. It's confirmed for the handheld version, and all the other songs in the DS version are on the main version thus far... |

The allure of the free GH: Van Halen pulled me in. I did buy GH5 today, two games for $60 is a great deal, I was going to wait for the prices to drop on these
then get them, but they are $30 each now, which is pretty good.
