Both parts will be repeated as a two-hour episode at 8et on Sat, 10/2. I thought it was very good, and lived up to the hype. Good acting, writing, and action. Next episode looks a little wacky, what with the infighting and all, but I suppose that's expected. Gotta have tension and drama from within the group too, not just from the mysterious "force" in the forest. Also, if folks do learn any actual specifics about the show's mysteries ahead of time, remember to use the spoiler tag if you feel the need to pass along that info.

Great show, I'll be watching this from now on. I have to say though, unless they're in some sort of alternate dimension(or a very strange zoo gone horribly wrong), I have no idea where they're at based on what we saw on the new episode.

A good number of shockers and twists... From the polar bear to the girl being the prisoner (and what she was the prisoner for) to the shrapnel guy being the marshall to even the Korean guy and his weird mystical food... Shouldn't they have taken it back to the beach for food? And also, not only does it not make sense to be out of place, it's not possible. A real polar bear would overheat and die in that climate. Unless the bear has evolved to be able to survive in that climate, through genetic manipulation or through time travel... Not about the bear, but how was that message playing for 16 years? What's the power source for it? I don't think there's much point in speculating, this story could go anywhere at this point.

I mean, the polar bear, the 16 year old distress signal, Kate the prisoner, her cop friend being alive, good ol' scarface and backgammon. This is one wacky show. I hope we actually learn what's going on sometimes and don't just get more stuff thrown in to wonder about, all we learned in this episode was that Charlie was in the bathroom to get his drugs. May I propose that all posts after the west coast airing may be spoiler ridden with no warnings?

And it's not gonna be just a 'let's throw one more crazy thing after another in here' kinda thing. I also hope that ABC sticks with the show long enough to get answers. I'm really glad it's on ABC cause this is exactly the kinda show that would've been cancelled by FOX by tonight.

When I mentioned using spoilers earlier I was mainly referring to info people might learn from outside sources about the show and what's happening. I'm pretty sure I heard that ratings for the show were outstanding, and there'll no doubt eventually be more and more spoiler info on the web.

Crazy people (scientists, terrorists, militants, whatever) shot down the plane for leisure (target practice, test subjects, whatever) and y'know the polar bear was an experiment. But of course, I came up with that explanation in thirty seconds so it's probably not that simple. But, for some reason, this show scares the beeeeejeeeeezzzzuuusss outta me.

He seemed to like it except when they showed the guy with the metal sticking out of him "quick, change the channel!". I had to take a call in the other room and when I came back he said something about a Polar Bear that had a tongue like an Ant Eater. I thought he was making it up.

I am wondering whether the girl is still alive 16 years later. And about the polar bear, it would have been unbelievably hard to drag that thing back to the beach. Btw, which episode do the Harlem globetrotters show up in again?

I think it was after the polar bear was shot, the blonde girl(can't remember her name now..you know the bratty one) says something like "...but polar bears don't live in the jungle." and Charlie says "Spot on!" I also thought it would be hard to watch the series and not see Meriadoc Brandybuck, but it's not to bad. After seeing Pippin in "Master and Commander" and now this show, maybe the hobbits will have okay careers after LOTR.
