Homerman, whats the outcome of getting a replacement Homer for your village? Inquiring minds wanna know? Hope it worked out for you. As for me I cut Mr. Burns away from Homer in the recent dups figurine set and currently have him next to Barney in my set up. Also,,, anybody have any poop on whether we can expect any new figurines in time for Christmas? My village is set up and I admit it looks sweet. Ya gotta accessorize with stuff from Wally World. As usual I'll add, Sorry no pics.

No reply at all yet-- after three emails. Looks like the next step is a phone call. But, it's tough because their hours are when I'm at work, and I don't have the time to try and expline to them what the Simpson Christmas Village is-- let alone, the one little figure in it.

Got your standard CT reply to my question regarding any more festive friends past # 5. They just told me there were no more due out and didnt elaborate on whether any more would ever be made. I think we may have hurt their feelings over the dupes.

Well I have received all the way through 7 and my order page shows #8 set to ship in mid Jan...so obviously they have NO IDEA what is going on. BUT DOES THAT SURPRISE ANYONE!!!
 I'm still holding out hope that there will be new characters. I mean they have the molds. If they can reproduce the ornaments as figures can't they reproduce characters from the train set as figures. PLEASE!!! |

I've been waiting for months now for the next "piece" in the village. It's supposed to be the Fryiong Dutchman, but everytime I call they still have no idea when it will be released.

Just received set #11 "A season of surprises" and while it does contain a piece with Homer and Bart, it does have another Mr. Burns (I know we already have him, but at least it's a piece that isn't a member of the family) and it has...are you ready for this. A SMITHERS!

A Smithers by himself and a Burns by himself...so you wouldn't have to use the one with Burns and Homer.

Looks like we're getting our first new piece in awhile. Milhouse's House is set to ship Mid-January. Maybe it will come in time for Christmas.
Just spent the weekend putting up the village...only 2 new houses since last year, but the tireyard really does add a lot. |

I put mine up yesterday. I'm having trouble with my Tire Yard. Only a few "fires" are lighting up. I thought I could get inside to take a look but no dice. If I get the Van Houten House, it will have to go to the side. I simply do not have the shelving to display 20 structures!!
[EDIT] Got the Van Houten Crib today. Nothin' too fancy but I did snag #0012  gusbanks: Curator, Simpsonian Institute
