Tommy is knee-deep in Film Festival crap at the moment, so I'm sure after that is finished (should be this week), he'll get that updated.

I have a little request. I only have a pass for one day......guess I wasn't quick enough in getting the 4-day pass that I always get........and that's
the Saturday,but I really need to get in there on either Wednesday or Thursday to go to the Hallmark booth as I have a list of people who want me to pick up
the Star Trek and Star Wars Hallmark exclusives for them. I don't know the price or if there are limits to how many you can buy,Hallmark knew nothing when
I asked them. My request is......could someone lend me their badge for half an hour,tops,or shop at the Hallmark booth for me? I'll pay ya for the trouble
of course. Can't believe I'm flying in from Norway for ONE day at the con,LOL! Actually,I have three weeks in the US.....New

Hola everyone!!! Wow, i just started going through this thread and saw that a couple of regs aren't going this year. Sadly, I'm one of those regs too.
I just started a new gig a couple of weeks ago and there's practically no way i can get those days off. Pluuuus, I didn't even try to get a pass this
year because I didn't know what i was going to be doing come con time.
I'm super bummed about it because I always have so much fun freezing my tail off in Hall H hanging out with all you SCS'ers. It was also fun chauffeuring the out of towners around and I'm sorry to say that i won't be able to do that this year. Plus since texting while driving is now illegal, you guys would have had a safer car ride!  I'm gonna miss the In n Out and Dave & Buster's fun too! I hope you guys hold down the trivia machine
for me this year.
I'd totally do the weekend thing, but my buddy is celebrating his 30th on Saturday, so that's out. I might try to ebay a 4day pass to drive down preview night and just drive back up afterwards. In the end, I wish I could drive down and nerd it up for a solid 5 days, but it doesn't look like it's in the cards for me this year. 
Everything should be good to go in '10 so count me in then!! There's noo way I'd miss it two years in a row.

new tat at High Voltage while in L.A.,a Bart one.

Is Comic Con really this week? Wow! Alright so who all is going:

I came up with a tenative post-Con activities Wednesday - Meet at the Bongo booth right before closing (8:45pm) We'll then go to In-N-Out Burger and Dave and Busters. Rides can be given to those without transportation Thursday - Meet at the Bongo booth before closing and we will walk to The Tilted Kilt near the ballpark. This is a restaurant so all ages are welcome Friday - I'm gonna let someone else decide what to do this day. Laser Tag? Mini-golf? Shenanigans? Saturday - hosting a pizza party at our house right after the Con. Sunday - Walk through the exhibit hall saying goodbyes and one last Bongo meet-up before close. mr. b and I will be going to a Stephen Malkmus show at the Belly Up Tavern later that evening. Anyone else have any suggestions/things they'd like to do? |
