Alright, I saw the sneak peak for 24 after the Fringe Pilot the other day. And while I am excited for 24 to return, I think this looks very "Blood
Diamond-ish." I like that they are taking it in new directions while retaining some of the same characters. I hope that with the year and a half off,
that they really have something good here, because what I have seen isn't jaw dropping. But any 24 is better than no 24.

I thought that it was just a TV movie explaining what Jack's been up to since we last saw him. Season 7 doesn't actually begin until next January, and,
as far as I know, is still the same storyline they developed last year, before the writer's strike.

I guess you're right. The two hour event is called "24: Redemption". I wasn't aware. Thanks for setting it straight. Season 7 still starts in
Jan.

So is anyone watching this season? What do you think?
It's certainly not as bad as season six, which is a good thing. So far, I'm not sure how I like it. It is nice to have Tony back, and not as a bad guy! |

I think it's been pretty good, I like that it's actually fresh material unlike last season which was rehash city.

I've been watching and I see some of the same old plot holes as previous seasons, for example last night they crash 2 airplanes (not small ones either)
into each other on a clear day above Washington D.C., did the pilots have their heads removed beforehand, cuz they should have been able to see each other and
avoid the mid-air. One of the planes had 170ish passengers, which makes it a fair size plane and those size aircraft are required by the FAA to have collision
avoidance systems (radar) to keep what happened from happening. I'm still enjoying the show, but they need to try and stick to things that can really
happen. We all remember from seasons past, the CTU's ability to drive from one side of LA to the other in 15 minutes, and anyone that has been to LA can
tell you that that 20 mile drive will take you 1.5 hours on a good day.

AAAHHHRRRRGG!! I can not believe they brought back KIM! I almost threw my remote at the TV for making me so angry. At least she was only on for a few mins. I
hope that's the last we see of her. Thank goodness there was the Tony issue at the end of the epidose to suck me back in and want to watch again next week.
Kim better stay away. Give Jack the stem cells he needs and go back to LA and off the show where you belong!

Not to disappoint you rhinotough but I just saw a movie with Elisha Cuthbert (Kim Bauer) in it and had to find out what the name of the movie was
("Captivity" for anyone who is interested) and I saw that she will be in all remaining episodes of 24 this season.

I hope she bites it at the end of the season. Perhpas the "risky" stem cell operation will kill her and save Jack (one can only hope). And we all
know that Jack will be saved because I just heard yesterday that there is going to be a Season 8. Not to mention that in the coming attractions for next week,
he was looking like he was back to his normal ass-kicking self.

Jack Bauer can solve the case of the rising transit fares! Luckily for Jack, of course, we have so many hot dogs cart here, he won't have to fast for the whole day like he usually does... he just grab a dog and go! "Dammit Chloe, use the satellites! I'm chasing a terrorist near Lincoln Center, but need a dirty water dog ASAP! What are my options?! DAMMIT!" |

Well, at least keep her off the show.
What's the over/under that Tony is still a good guy? Even after he killed a couple of agents in last night's episode? BTW, I can not stand Chloe and Janis in the same room together. Makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out.
