There are a lot of great songs on there. I'll probably end up buying it or splitting it with somebody.

Also, RHCP's Under The Bridge is one of the 5 best songs ever written... buy it today. One of my most wanted songs is finally in the game.

RBR and dathrill, I have sent you friend requests. My gamertag is HamKet.
I think I'll pass on the AC/DC disc. I'm not a big enough fan to buy a $40 expansion pack. Though I do wonder if it counts as a game, and will have achievements... |

as soon as I get home, I'll accept it!
that is of course, if I don't spend all night watching my new Iron Man DVD. |

So supposedly it slipped that Motley Crue's entire Dr. Feelgood album will be out on October 14.
http://www.imeem.com/motl...a_signed_copy_of_the_dirt Not gonna get the whole thing, but for sure Dr. Feelgood, Same Old Situation, and Kickstart My Heart will be mine. Others depend on how they chart. EDIT: Christ there's been a metric ton of DLC lately. It's good to have this much choice, but it's got to slow down at some point, right? And I lied... listening to the album, it's really good and I may just buy the whole thing.

Well, Harmonix has to meet their goal of over 500 songs available by the end of the year. What better way than to release full albums week after week?
I just want them to release the No Doubt compilation already. I'd probably buy the whole thing.

I'll be getting the No Doubt compilation too. No doubt about that!

And another expensive (for me) week next week...
Offspring Three-Pack Gone Away Pretty Fly Self Esteem Each track is available for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) or $5.49 (480 Microsoft Points) for the complete three pack. All tracks are masters. Singles Stop! by Against Me! All Right Now by Free Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood Cream & Bastards Rise Harvey Danger Nearly Lost You by Screaming Trees Push It by Static-X Each of these tracks is available for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points). All tracks are masters. I love all those songs but the Harvey Danger one (which sounds good, but I've never heard it before). Also, this about kills the rumored 20 free DLC songs (I think only Holiday In Cambodia is left on that list that hasn't been released, meaning I'm 99% sure it will be out soon). And Nearly Lost You was one of my favorite songs that I wanted in the game, so awesome there. |

Again, this is a terrible time to not have my XBOX... And my dad may not be bringing it out at all until November (even though he said he'd bring it out
next time he came out here, in about a week and a half). Gah.

I doubt anyone but me cares, but Harmonix has confirmed that the Wii version of Rock Band 2 will work with at least the GH3 guitar and I would assume the GH WT
instruments as well... though even if it's just with the GH3 guitar, it means I'll buy Rock Band 2, since there was absolutely no way I'd buy it if
I had to buy all the instruments twice.

They also confirmed RB2 for the Wii will support DLC, so good news there too.

I guess it's good news.

So, who's getting Guitar Hero World Tour? And which version are you getting?
I'm leaning towards the guitar and game bundle, since the new guitar functionality looks interesting. I'm not going to bother with the drums; I'll use the Rock Band kit instead, since the game will adjust for their use. |

360 game-only version. i don't have room for multiple drumsets, and I don't use my RB set now. I hate the kick-pedal.

Game only. Apparently the touch strip sections let you play without strumming on the normal frets too, and I don't need another geetar.

Anyone know what the new notes in Rock Band 2 do?
The white ones(similar to the overdrive building ones) that are all by themselves and have a yellow dot in the middle or something. |

I have no idea what you're talking about... I've never seen any notes like that.

You're the second person to say that. I gotta take photos or a video or something.

I'm definitely getting the full band set of GH WT for Wii, but that's only because I don't have any drums yet and I like the new guitar(I'm
curious about how well the touch strip will work). I don't plan on buying any more instruments, but we all know how that goes. I will be getting the game
only for Rock Band 2 once the Wii version comes out.
