Once every few weeks (if I'm bored enough), I'll dig into the WoS and Merch archives.. reading the posts and threads from years ago can be very entertaining. It's a hoot to see some of the names that haven't been spotted 'round these parts
in ages. It's also fun to stumble upon your own posts; which after all this time, may as well have been written by someone else..

A lot of the old stuff has been lost, but I'm sure there is still a lot of good stuff there. I'll be curious to see what you come up with.

Back in the day this was quite the popular forum. I miss it, along with the WoS line of toys.

Oh you mean the days where if you wanted to see if someone replied to one of your posts all you had to do was click refresh? Yeah those days were fun.

Not to get too morbid or anything, but I've often wondered when you see a name suddenly disappear from a message board could it be that the person could
have gotten ill or worse? Internet message boards cover such a large area, world wide obviously, and have so many posters that you really don't know
anything about, it's possible that when we no longer see posts from someone that they could have passed away.

I remember the auctions markwars used to have. I would eagerly await those, even skip meetings at work. He had a lot of Simpsacrap to get rid of. I think when
we don't see regulars anymore, it just means that they've just outgrown their collection.

I was looking in my closet the other day... saw six boxes labeled "Simpsons." I couldn't believe it would take six banker's boxes to hold
all those figures so I pulled them all out and realized that when I moved out of my old office, I wrapped each figure individually in a separate sheet of
bubble wrap. So I unwrapped every last one of them and re-wrapped them two to a sheet. Got it down to four boxes and got to see those great toys once again.
I'm thinking it might be time to remove the Cars and Marvel figures from the office and re-build Springfield...
