It's only April, but NECA has just released what could be the best line of the year - their comic based Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Yes, they are that good in just about every category. I'm reviewing the boxed set tonight, but the single carded figures have even more accessories. If you're a fan of the comic...even if you're just a fan of the movies and cartoons, I highly recommend checking these out. You can find my review at the usual:

Thanks for the great review - it reminded me to see if I had ordered the boxed set from DCBS (less than $36) and sure enough, I hadn't. I can't wait to get my mitts on these - they really do look great! |

I saw 3/4 of the Turtles at Suncoast yesterday. I was sorely tempted to get them. I still might.

I didn't know Suncoast was getting these. Anyway, I wasn't taking any chances with these, I ordered my set earlier this week. I have yet to hear
anything bad about these.

I agree. I was tempted buy this line but your great review clinched the deal. They arrived yesterday and these are by far the coolest toys I've bought in
quite a while. What's really a testament as to how great these are is that I've never even been a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

I was a huge fan of the original comics, and these figures are incredible.
