I hate Wal-mart exclusives, but I did manage to stumble across one last week. No, not DCUC 10, but rather the new Marvel Universe two packs with the large figure and regular small figure. I'm checking out the Skrull as Giant Man vs Captain America tonight.

Torchwood Blowfish Review

Ghostbusters Ray Stantz review

Last week I checked out the new 12" Ghostbusters Ray Stantz, but tonight I'm getting smaller, looking at the 6" version that was also released on October 15th. I'm not thrilled by the head sculpt, but everything from the neck down is great (as you'd expect, since it's the same as Egon), and the added ghost is great.

Battle for Metropolis

DC Infinite Heroes continue to frustrate me. It's a line that I really want to love. I decided to set aside a lot of the issues I had with them, (sculpting, hands, lack of accessories) and pick up the Battle for Metropolis set because it's so cheap now. I figured with so much going for this set (thanks to my leniency) that this would get me into DCIH.

The Gentle Giant series of Disney/Pixar animataed statues is one of those lines that I suspect won't get much attention now...but not too far out people are going to suddenly realize they exist, and wonder where they went.

I'm looking at the second release tonight, Bolt from the movie of the same name. I think these are some of GG's best recent work, but with very low edition numbers, they are going to dry up quickly and quietly.

I've got an odd one tonight - it's called Djubi, and it's a new take on an old game: Catch! Two nets, some funky balls, and a way to shoot them at each other at a high rate of speed - take off your pants and we're having a party! But if you're looking for a video of me making a fool of myself, you'll be sadly disappointed.

Astro Boy Figures

I plan on picking up quite a few of these Astro Boy toys, but this is the first one I'm reviewing. Check it out if you'd like.

Each figure comes with his own accessories. However in the case of this Astro, that's almost a burden more than a blessing.

It's not bad enough that the only DCUC wave 10 Walmart exclusives I've seen so far were in the hands of someone that got to the aisle ahead of me. No, Target has to have an exclusive for me to look for at the same time - Mattel's Public Enemies. These technically aren't DCUC, and I'm not nearly as interested in them as DCUC 10, but I did come across Superman and Batman this week. I was really excited when Mattel announced it's 3 3/4 Toy Story figures but I'm just not happy with Mattel's 3 3/4 Toy Story offerings thus far, but I have been looking at these Gashapon Toy Story figures for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. These are some really great figures with some diverse articulation and pretty good sculpting for the size. They appear to be about the size of Mattel's toys, but cost less...

Hot Toys T-600 with weathered skin

There have been a lot of great lines this year, but one stands out for me - Terminator Salvation from Hot Toys. They've hit us up with 4 distinct characters in just the last few weeks, and now they've released the T-600 with 'weathered skin', a variant so unique that it's practically another character. I think this one is my favorite Endo so far, although it's a tough call - they're all kinds of awesomesauce!

Back to the Future Delorean 3 3/4 Scale Review

Here we have the Back to the Future 1/15th scale Delorean. This is made to fit 3 3/4 figures. It's really an awesome vehicle or much higher quality than most vehicles in this scale out there. With plenty of lights and sounds.
